abstract minimalism
My philosophy has to do with playing with the inescapable dualities of this world while calling attention to the connection behind meaning of words & relationship to form through expression of ink. From the outside in, all this ink is just liquid mass (represented by the ocean in nature), it is formless and reminds us we’re all one. The stoic philosopher in me contemplates on themes of duality, symmetry, paradoxical-thinking, and possibility. I can’t say I one specific aesthetic but something in-between polarities of liquid and form. The inner child is the liquid & fluid mass and the stoic philosopher is the structured & balanced form, void of emotion. I find we all oscillate between the two to some degree.
