"stranded"

which evolved into an exploration I'm calling “paranoia” during a time i found myself isolated and “cast away”.. on a metaphorical island surrounded by my own reflection staring at me from all directions… its times like these that bring meaning to quotes like this: “The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven..” ― John Milton, Paradise Lost anyway, that’s when the voice in my head became so clear you can't un-hear it. until you actually listen to it (even though if makes you cringe..) you accept it as part of your journey. and find resolve in knowing you're the sum of your past and present, conscious and subconscious, light and shadow selves. 🙏🏼

"Stranded Again"

This is a visual thought exploration inspired by our mass awakening in 2023: “how does it feel to be real?”

This is the ultimate question.. so broad yet relevant for times.
but realized i’ve been over complicating it.
or “philosophizing” (lol)

But maybe its more simple than that.
Maybe its simply that we’re able to turn this thought onto itself. To be able to pose this as question to ourselves, inwardly. No prompt needed.

“Am I real? am I being real or artificial? How do I feel bout it how other are seeing me? (reflection)
"If not.. am I presenting a true sense of self onto the world?" (projection)

But I realize maybe we'll never get there, maybe this is the root cause of imposter syndrome,
Maybe it's just one of the many perks of being human. and that's cool too.
